History of Art?

Right now I am taking a History of Art course. My AP exam is in May. What is the most efficient way to study for the exam? We have covered 29 chapters. Should I study art characteristics, images, social/political background or all? I don’t really have time to go over all the chapters again. If you have a book reference, please let me know. The book I use is from Marilyn Stockstad.

Haha, I just asked a similar question. Anyway, the best study book out there is the REA AP Art History book. It covers all of the art periods as well as lists the major artworks you will probably see on the exam. It’s extremely detailed and also includes two practice tests with extremely detailed explanations for each answer. Each chapter for the art period gives you a lowdown of what kinds of questions to expect and key facts to make sure to remember. There’s a little over 300 pages of reading and then a term list and list of important artists/artworks.
